The Doctor meets Martha Jones at London’s Royal Hope Hospital where she is training to be a doctor.
Something alien is hiding in the hospital - a Plasmavore, and after helping the Doctor expose and defeat the vampiric creature, she eagerly joins the time traveller on his adventures through time and space.
