A young stage hand at the Laurenzi Theatre, and deeply in love with Tallulah, one of the dancers, Laszlo was kidnapped by the Pig Men, augmented slaves of the Daleks and surgically altered into becoming one of them.
However, he turned on his new masters and aided the Doctor, Martha Jones and Tallulah in their fight against the Daleks in Manhattan. Although his metabolic rate was sped up by the surgery, the Doctor found a way to save Laszlo and the young pig-man and Tallulah were left in New York, determined to have a future together.
