Cereal Bar Recipes
For use with the Let's Cook Cereal Bar Maker.
Remember to wash your hands before use and wash all the components before and after each use.
How much you use of each ingredient is up to you, but you will achieve the best results by using mostly cereal or muesli with a little of the other ingredients mixed in. All the recipes require the addition of a setting agent, such as jelly crystals or powdered dessert mix, as in the instructions. (You can also use half a jelly baby sweet in four spoonfuls of hot (NOT boiling) water.
Oranges and Lemons
Cereal Orange and lemon jelly slices, chopped Hundreds and thousands (tiny candy strands)

Jelly Baby Bar
Cereal Jelly babies broken into small pieces (or any suitable jelly sweets or candy, such as jelly beans, dolly mixtures etc.)

Crunchy nut cornflakes Crushed mixed nuts (unsalted) 1 spoonful of thick honey |

Rice crispies Fudge (chopped small) Melted chocolate (Place pieces of chocolate in a bowl over warm water to melt it)

Coconut Surprise

What you will need:
Your favourite cereal Chocolate Desiccated coconut Cling Film Bowl Pan |
- Melt 4 pieces of chocolate over a medium heat, in a bowl over a small pan filled a quarter of the way up with boiling water.
- Add 4 generous tablespoons of your favourite cereal and stir well.
- Add two heaped teaspoons of desiccated coconut and stir well.
- Follow the easy step by step instructions on page 2, points 4 to 16, letting the mixture cool down slightly before placing in the cling film.
NB. Why not try replacing the coconut with dried chopped banana.
Chocolate Delight

What you will need:
Your favourite cereal Chocolate Golden Syrup Cling Film Bowl Water Pan |
- Melt 4 pieces of chocolate over a medium heat, in a bowl over a small pan filled a quarter of the way up with boiling water.
- Add 4 generous tablespoons of your favourite cereal and stir well.
- Add one teaspoon of golden syrup and stir well.
- Follow the easy step by step instructions on page 2, points 4 to 16, letting the mixture cool down slightly before placing in the cling film.
Nutty Butter Fingers
WARNING: Contains nuts.
What you will need:
Your favourite cereal Butter Sugar Golden Syrup Peanut Butter Vanilla extract (Optional) Cling Film Pan |
- Melt a little butter in a small pan over a medium heat.
- Add a level teaspoon of sugar.
- Add a level teaspoon of golden syrup.
- Bring to the boil and cook until the sugar has dissolved.
- Remove from heat and quickly stir in a level tablespoon of peanut butter.
- Add 1-2 drops of vanilla extract (optional).
- Add 4 generous tablespoons of your favourite cereal and stir well.
- Follow the easy step by step instructions on page 2, points 4 to 16, letting the mixture cool down before placing in the cling film.
